Promoting Diversity Through the Employment of Foreign Talent

Since 2022, Daisei Warehouse & Transportation has actively hired foreign employees, fostering a workplace that values diverse perspectives and cultures. We particularly welcome skilled foreign workers who studied in Japan and embarked on a new career after graduation, creating an environment that encourages cross-cultural exchange and teamwork beyond various backgrounds and cultural differences.

In FY2024, eight skilled workers from Vietnam joined Daisei Warehouse & Transportation as new Crew members.

Creating Second Careers for Senior Truck Drivers

Major Service Japan launched its hotel business in October 2019 to provide a workplace where retired senior truck drivers can continue working with peace of mind. By incorporating smart locks and self-check-in systems, we have made hotel operations accessible even to those without prior hospitality experience. This initiative supports long-term employment opportunities while ensuring a sustainable work environment.
Located in Ryogoku, Tokyo, Hotel Ark Sense serves as a second career opportunity for senior truck drivers.

Mindfulness Classes

These sessions provide an opportunity for employees to reflect on their lifestyle, reduce stress, and improve focus, ultimately fostering a healthier work environment and enhancing operational efficiency.

Camping Office

Daisei Every 24 has established a camping office, “Bright Future Field” (BFF) within the premises of its Ichinomiya headquarters. This initiative aims to create a workplace where employees can connect with one another and work with excitement while being surrounded by nature. BFF serves as a multi-purpose space, offering opportunities for relaxation during work breaks and employee training sessions. It is open not only to office workers at the headquarters but also to on-site staff and drivers, providing a welcoming environment for all employees to use freely.
